“And the Bible Didn’t Mention Us” — CMV/AMV Saturday 6/29/19

I don’t have any idea what this is, but it’s beautiful. I don’t know well the song “Sampson” by Regina Spektor (which I love) fits this AMV by SamanthaCaelo, but it’s lovely. The comment section told me this ship is from Norigami, which I’ve only watched a few episodes of with Chronic. It didn’t seem much like my thing, but this ship seems heartbreaking, and now I wonder if I should give it another chance and stick with it until I get to this couple. Of course, that precludes any self-preservation instincts I may have from doing their job as the ship will probably break my heart if this AMV is anything to go by. Still, I’m tempted.

I have in the past found other shows from watching AMVs of them first. Have any of you seen Norigami? Without spoilers, can you tell me if I should watch it for this ship? Would I come to like this show?

Please go give the AMV creator some love, and tell them Shoujo sent you. ❤

  1. Noragami and the sequel are great and the manga is fantastic as well. But it is not really a shoujo, though it has lots of romance elements. The relationship between Bishamon and Kazuma is amazing and complex, Bishamon is a goddess and Kazuma is one of her servant spirits, so it’s not a simple ship. They are also not the main characters, though they are major characters.

    1. Thanks for explaining, Martin! I was very curious after watching the AMV. 🙂 I know a lot of people like Noragami, but it just didn’t seem to be my thing. I only watched a few episodes, admittedly. I do love romance, though!
